Our equipment is built to withstand many years of operation with dependable performance in less-than-perfect operating conditions. We build all our ovens with customers in mind. Therefore, we do not stock ovens but custom design and build them for your specific needs. We have no “One size fits all.” No oven is off the shelf so you get exactly what you need and want for your process. We are serious about building solid machinery that will meet the needs of your specific application. The oven you buy will be designed for your part, process, space and utility ratings. We make sure that the oven you receive meets your every specification. Our ovens are used in a variety of applications and industries around the globe.
Configurations
Because of our modular heaters, we can design the oven to comply with the shape of your complex parts for excellent heat coverage. And with our multiple types of emitters and the ability to build an electric infrared or gas catalytic oven, we make sure the technology is correct for you. We have multiple test ovens to help determine the best technology and orientation for your project.
Longevity and Energy Efficiency
Our custom Infrared and Industrial ovens are designed and built to last years and years. We make every effort to test parts the customer is making prior to design and build to ensure highest quality performance of their custom Infrared or Industrial oven. This attention to detail has created a loyal and repeat customer base. Ovens are constructed of steel and aluminum to be structurally sound and sturdy by welding steel and using superior fasteners to last for years.
The infrared heaters are attached with optimal distance from the part to ensure uniform heat coverage. The heaters are properly wired and tested and the ovens are guarded for safety. Most of our emitters are rated at 10,000 to 20,000 hours. The wattage size of the heaters are specified such that the settings should run at less that 70-80% of full power. This helps to ensure the heaters are not over worked and designed for the proper process and energy efficiency.
Quality Assurance
Over the years, we have vetted our suppliers and only utilize ones we trust to supply our infrared heaters, designed and built to fit the size and specific needs of each customer’s order. Our control panels are built to UL508A and NFPA-86 and CAN/CSA C22.2, No. 14-2013 standards. We check each heater and zone for any issues before completing the build. We invite the customer to our factory to answer any questions about their new oven or its operation. Finally we crate and ship it to the customers destination.
Replacement Parts
We get numerous calls from customers who now own an oven built prior to the turn of the century. Frequently, they are calling for the first time for replacement parts. Blasdel can replace many other oven companies’ parts who are no longer in business like Dri-Quik – CCI Thermal, Industrial Oven Company and Ceramic Oven Company. If your oven has the Dial-O-Temp label, those ovens are original to Blasdel Enterprises and we have the parts for those ovens.
