Blasdel Enterprises designs and manufactures industrial convection ovens and cooling tunnels using high volume air. High volume air ovens are typically used on low temperature processes.
Our high velocity air/convection ovens and cooling tunnels are equipped to meet your needs. They can be used in applications such as moisture dryoff, paint curing, paint flashing and cooling parts. At Blasdel, we offer an array of custom heating solutions to accommodate our diverse customer base. These range from the aerospace and automotive industries, to pharmaceutical companies.
Blasdel’s convection ovens and high velocity ovens work with a range of materials including glass, plastic, metal, rubber, and wood. Customize your oven with our conveyor systems, independent control zones, material handling systems, and horizontal or vertical designs.
High velocity air ovens recirculate air to remove solvents and water from coatings and to accelerate the cure. Blasdel’s unique closed-loop recirculation design allows for minimal heat loss. It also eliminates the need for air knives or air curtains. This is due to the balanced system. A PID temperature control system is used for even heat: end-to-end and top-to-bottom.
Cooling tunnels are custom designed like the high volume air ovens, but with no heating capacity. This provides a cooling or dry off method that does not compromise applications that are heat sensitive. It can also provide an option to cool parts or substrates faster to allow for handling or processing. In the cooling tunnels, two blowers force outside air in, while drawing the heated air from the parts and out the opposite end. Simply passing air over a part, results in significantly faster cooling.
